PROGRAM
DAY 1 Arrival in Greece.
Departures from LONDON – PARIS – ROME – MILAN – AMSTERNDAM – BRUSSELS – MUNICH – DUSSELDORF – FRANKFURT – WARSAW – PRAGUE – VIENNA – SOFIA – TIRANA – ISTANBUL – YERVAN – TBILISI and CYPRUS. Arrival in Chania via Athens internatinal airport. Transfer to your accommodation. Free time.
This is not a tour with a guide giving you lots of historical information. Instead, it is an escorted privileged tour and the main objective is to visit a few authentic spots in Chania Old Town, to talk with local people and taste traditional cretan products and wine.
We will help you to see, how the locals life is and to feel as a local for a few hours.
We have carefully selected sites all easily accessible. Our selection includes Venetian, Turkish and Greek monuments.
We will guide you along the picturesque narrow streets with a tour escort who will take you to special spots to take some spectacular photos and presents the most famous sights to you.
During your walking tour we will stop frequently to talk with locals.The food tasting will be at a restaurant to be more comfortable for you. You will taste local products as, “koulouri”, “kalitsounia”, “graviera”, “mizithra”, “Cretan salad”, “local olives”, “boureki”, “pastitsio” fresh tomatoes and local Cretan honey.
The tour includes a wine tasting also. Our partner will serve you 4 different Cretan wines from indigenous varieties of grapes.

DAY 2 Chania EXPERIENTIAL TOUR

DAY 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day for activities. Make the most of your time in the city center, or join us on a full-day excursion to Knossos. (optional participation)
DAY 4
Breakfast at the accommodation. Breakfast at the hotel. For those who have chosen the four-day program, today is the last day. Meeting with our representative for the transfer to the airport, and the return flights.
For those who remain,in the afternoon, we will visit Rethymno is located in the north end of the prefecture, built by the sea and is a city with many faces. Rethymno or Rithymna as it was once called has been inhabited since the Later Minoan III period. Nowadays, it keeps the elements inherited by its history (from antiquity up to now), preserving at the same time the characteristics of a modern city.
DAY 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Take advantage of your available time for one last walk in Chania. Transfer to the airport for the return flights.
You can add as many days as you wish to the destination. You can also choose some of the suggested experiences, located in the upper right part of the page you were on.

If there is time available, we suggest taking advantage of it in the city center. Our partner will be waiting for you at your hotel reception in order to take you to the airport for your return flight.
